The Kenya Rafting Federation will host the first Joint Continental Rafting and Canoeing Championship* in Sagana, Kenya in 2028.
Discussions between Ahmed Mahamoud Aboulkader, Secretary General of the Confederation of African Canoeing, and William Kinuthia, Secretary General of the Kenya Rafting Federation, have begun to bring this historic event to life.
Supported by El Belebas Mamoun, President of African Rafting, and Salim Fari Yakoub, Secretary General of African Rafting, the initiative aims to strengthen water sports across Africa and help position the continent on the Olympic medal stage.
